One of the leading considerations in choosing the location to purchase real estate overseas is the weather. Many who are looking for real estate in Portugal<\/a>, do so because of the relatively mild climate prevailing in the country. The number of sunny days in Portugal is one of the highest in Europe, a figure that makes Portugal a desirable destination for many.<\/p>\n

Portugal is the westernmost country in Europe with long borders. In the north, east and south it borders with Spain; in the west with the Atlantic Ocean. Despite its geographical location, the climate in Portugal is Mediterranean<\/strong>.
\nPortugal is considered one of the warmest countries in Europe and the sun shines throughout the country most of the year. The weather is relatively mild and stable.

\nThe weather in Lisbon allows you to enjoy it throughout the year, with an average annual temperature ranging from 17.5 to 21 degrees during the day, to 14 degrees at night.
\nIn summer, the hottest month is August with an average temperature of 22 degrees
\nIn winter, the coldest month is January with an average temperature of 12 degrees
\nThe greatest amount of precipitation falls in the month of November.<\/p>\n
