Grilled sardines, the trademark of Portugal, are very popular in Stoval. Atlantic horse mackerel, bass and red mussel in sauce, often appear on the table in restaurants along with other traditional Portuguese dishes, and as usual white or local red wine accompanies the meal.
The weather is comfortable, in the summer months the temperatures range between 18 and 30 degrees and in the winter between 7 and 18 degrees.
